Urban Renewal Agency

The Urban Renewal Agency was formed in 2022 in order to help administer the North Community Entrance Urban Renewal District. Their role is to assist and advise the City Council in the review and recommendation of URD project applications. 

 

Roles of the Urban Renewal Agency are set by Montana Code Annotated Title 7, Chapter 15, Part 42 and City of Red Lodge Resolution 3614. The goals of the Agency are to administer the North Community Entrance Urban Renewal District and recommend projects to City Council which fall under the priorities set in the Urban Renewal Plan.


Members:

The Urban Renewal Agency members are appointed by the Mayor with the advise and consent of the City Council. There are five to seven (5-7) voting members from the public and organizations, a Planning Board member, and the Planning Director (non-voting).  All appointments will serve 4 year terms.
